After creating the 1 Hour Baby Scarfie Hat I just knew that I would have to create some other baby items using this yarn. With Lion Brand Scarfie yarn you can make three adult hats and still have a little left on a skein! I created a Messy Bun Hat with this skein and then the Scarfie Hat shown above and wanted some matching baby booties. I still have more left from this skein so be on the lookout for another baby item that matches these two in the near future.
I don’t know about you but I seem to go in spurts when I am making things. I used to design only sweaters for publication, but sweaters can take so long and I really wanted some quicker projects so I decided to start making scarves and cowls. Then I turned to crochet jewelry and now my obsession is baby booties. My first baby shoe design sparked my interest and I quickly made a pair of Mary Janes after that. Now here is my third baby bootie design and I can see many more in the future. I guess I need to have another baby who can wear all these… 😉
